AC Education & Migration ("ACEM", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

• Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country and location.
• Information about your study or migration goals: courses, occupation, intake, timeline, English level, points-calculator and visa-finder answers.
• Documents and details you choose to send us when you become a client (for example passports, academic records and employment history).
• Notes we make about our conversations with you.
• Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device, pages visited and cookies, collected through our website and analytics tools.

We do not ask for more personal information than we need to provide the service you request.

• To respond to your enquiry and provide education, migration and coaching services.
• To prepare applications for institutions and visa applications you instruct us to lodge.
• To follow up with you, schedule appointments and send emails you have asked for, such as document checklists.
• To meet our legal and professional obligations as a registered migration agency, including record-keeping.
• To improve our website, tools and services.
• To send you information about our services where you have agreed to receive it. You can opt out at any time.

We share personal information only where needed for the purposes above, including with:

• Our staff and offices in Australia and Bangladesh.
• Education providers and government agencies (such as the Department of Home Affairs) when you instruct us to apply on your behalf.
• Service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, email delivery, customer-relationship-management (CRM) and analytics providers. Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia.
• Regulators or authorities where we are required or authorised by law to do so.

We do not sell your personal information.

Because we have an office in Dhaka, Bangladesh and use online service providers, your information may be handled or stored outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas we take reasonable steps to make sure the recipient handles it in a way consistent with the APPs.

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies, and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Facebook Pixel, to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls limited to authorised staff, two-factor authentication for staff accounts, encrypted connections and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide our services and to meet legal and professional record-keeping requirements. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
